Position details:
St Helena’s Catholic Primary School seeks an enthusiastic and motivated middle primary teacher to cover a long service leave replacement in Term 4.

We are a co-educational primary school catering for 500 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6.

Selection criteria:
Applications are invited from educators who demonstrate:

  • Active membership of the Catholic Church and commitment to the ethos if Catholic Education.
  • High expectations for students while creating a safe and welcoming environment founded on positive relationships.
  • Understanding and integration of key curriculum and planning documentation, such as the WA Curriculum and SCSA Judging Standards.
  • Ability to create relevant learning plans, and assessments, that are responsive to a variety of individual student needs.
  • Considered and seamless integration of technology within relevant learning activities.
  • A high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Willingness to work cooperatively as part of a cohesive and dedicated team of educators. 

Qualification required:
* Minimum of four year tertiary Education degree (Early Childhood may be considered an advantage)

* Accreditation to teach Religious Education (or willingness to attain this)

* Applicants must address the selection criteria. It is also a requirement that the names and contact details of three referees be included, one of whom must be the applicant’s parish priest.
