Waste Wise Program

The St Helena's Waste Wise Program aims to raise awareness and developing lifelong values and behaviours in our students, staff, parent body and the wider school community.

Through this program we both teach environmental values, and make changes which deal with the school's waste in the most sustainable way possible.

Much of our Waste Wise Program can be related back to the 3R's - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.  By implementing the 3R's, we can reduce the amount of waste being produced, conserve resources and energy used in making products, save money on waste disposal and minimise the amount of waste being sent to landfill.
